You push on the pedal and slightly pull the handlebars to your chest to keep the balance by lightly jumping back and forth on the rear wheel.
How do it
Pedal kick is basically a trial trick, but you can also use it to hold rear wheel balance.
1.
Pull the handlebar like you do in a manual, but don't move forward.
2.
Bend your knees and try to keep balance.
3.
Push on the pedal and slightly pull the handlebar to your chest.
4.
Keep balance this way by lightly jumping back and forth.
