Riding backwards.
How do it
Riding backwards is a vital skill. You should learn fakie before proceeding to 180 turn. You can practice on a flat surface or a slight slope.
1.
Approach a wall at a medium speed. Bump it with your front wheel.
2.
Lean forward to gain momentum for a push off.
3.
Push off. Keep your arms straight and tensed all the time, knees bent and your back above the rear wheel.
4.
Ride backwards. Backpedal slowly with the sprocket movement. Use your knees to maintain balance.
