A 180° turn performed from a Hop.
How do it
If you ride cross-country bike with a tall frame or freeride bike with dual-crown fork and a rear suspension you might use 180 hop instead of 180 bunny hop. Your progress will depend on the length and weight of your bike. Also keep in mind that unfinished turns and harsh landings are might damage your XC frame or rear suspension. Practice on a flat surface at medium speed. If your right foot is the leading one — spin only counterclockwise.
1.
Turn you handlebar gently in the direction you want to spin and and compress into the crouched position.
2.
To hop up and sideways keep turning during the jump and look at your rear wheel.
3.
Land on the both wheels with your legs almost straight and pedal backwards.
