when i flip the board, the boards flips away from me but lands to far away to land + i'm too scared to land it. any advice?:)

Try to flick your fot upwards ^^ instead of forward>>

You do really need to scoop up. When I do this trick I normally put my toes at the edge of the board and lift like straight up. It'll keep the board close and flip very nicely. Try practicing the flip still, then do it while in motion

Take it slowley with a few steps 2 start with, and dont overflip the board

I don’t know of this will help you but for me it really helped when you are ready to flip the board make shure your toes are pointing the board and then you can flip it
