When I crosstep my board usually goes in a straight line. Any tips to carving more during the steps?

Try putting pressure on your toes and lifting up your heals and exaggerate the movement sorry that's all I got

Try to not step in the exact middle of your board. This Will help your carving, and also make sure you keep using your weight to carve.
Similar to the other two answers, just shift your weight from your toes to your heels with each step
usually when i when i cross step after i carve only the front half of my foot is on the board, the back half just hangs off the board and i think that helps me get a better carve!
Put half your foot over either side of the board depending on which way you want to go.
Losing your trucks a bit may help too in addition to previous answers.
