Is the downhill tuck helpful to avoid speed wobbles?

Dude don't do what they say, tightening is never the solution if you want more stability go for different bushing duro/shape and even that is not the solution. Good riders can ride loose trucks with no wobble, wobbles comes from the rider only, keep your weight on the front of the board (tuck as low as you can that's what it's meant for) and stay loose, stiff legs is autowobble. That being said you can tighten your trucks it'll make the wobble come at higher speed and hit you harder !

also you can just tighten your truck a little more to get stability

all depends on how you ride but in most cases yes I ride bears which have a reverse kingpin so I can flip them for a downhill ride or keep them for a looser cruise ride

I would say downhill tuck helps a little but really you would want to tighten ur trucks or get some hard bushings

There is only one comment above that is right (Atilla Young). Pay attention to it. Train your tuck. Because a bad tuck will lead to speedwobbles anyway, but at higher speeds. So once again: good, trained tuck will help you to avoid wobbles. Bad newbie tuck may lead to wobbles at higher speeds.

Attila explained it perfectly but if your still getting wobbles different types of bushings like barrel bushings can help.

Maby tighten your trucks slightly
Yes that's what it's for, to maintain balance.
Nope. For downhill you need drift
Like already Said, tightening your trucks Will prevent speed wobbles a bit but downhill trucks are recomended
I find that you can avoid speed wobbles with a bit of practice and a good stance rather than spending money on new trucks
Get harder bushings
It helps but you should always tighten your trucks for better stability.
Wobbles are generally caused by tension in the riders legs. A trained tuck can help prevent this because it requires you to have a bend in your legs which will help keep them loose and relaxed. But it all boils down to the golden rule of any sport, don't let it intimidate you, that way you won't seize up in fear and cause wobbles.
Your have to have harder bushings to avoid speed wobbles. Also, try to stay still and don’t do sudden movements. That’ll throw you off.
Yes
Yes it definitely helps but not too much if you don’t know how I balance that well
No. Tuck doesnt greatly affect wobble, dampning and confidence do
No, Keep it lose. (I don’t do downhill much, I freestyle, so that may be wrong. But if I’m in a tuck I actually GET wobbly!
Yes that's what it's for, to maintain balance.
