How do you position your back foot that way? My legs don't let me do that with my back foot. Any tips??

Just try it. It was pretty hard for me in the beginning, because I felt pain in my knee. But I kept on skating until it was gone after a few days.

Try putting your hand back further so you're more spread out
Ok I'll try it because the problem is the side ways foot I can't really position it that way.
Try coming from a tuck position. ;)
Yea that's exactly how I feel like I'll just try to get used to it.
Stretch more
I had this problem myself when I was learning it, what worked for me was I got into position with my knee tucked down and went down a small hill or the location you're at and once I felt comfortable I would try it, it took a few tries but I eventually got it and could try it standing up. Good luck!
Same for me, I don't understand how it's possible to have this position...I have lot of pain on my back leg knee when I try, and also several days after... It's been a few months I try but always painfull. I success to Coleman not so bad, but this position is not natural and confortable at all... I succeeded to do the backside slide really quick, but the Coleman with this position...impossible... Impossible to bend my knees and keep my back foot flat on the board, it's a crazy...No advice ? Thx
You’re back foot should be somewhere near your rear bolts whatever normally feels comfortable for you is good. But what really helped me was getting that back knee folded down towards your front foot . It helps keep you’re weight over the board and have more control.
