How can I turn with the downhill tuck??

Just keep your balance and slowly shift your weight to the side you are turning to

You need to make sure that you keep in the same position and have a low center of gravity other wise you might topple over in the other direction. You then shift your weight like you normally when turning but this time you have to do it really slowly and carefully without any sudden movements otherwise you board could start speed wobbles that wouldn’t end really well. 👍🏾

Have your front foot turned slightly so it’s not straight, but it’s not sideways either. Then just put weight on your foot and turn.

It’s not so much turning as leaning. Shifting your weight from one side to the other. If you need to turn sharp go into a slide.

Turning with your shoulders works really well. Wherever your shoulders go, the rest of your body will follow. So long as you do the proper footing, turning with your shoulders will automatically allow you to shift with your weight, thus making you turn. I’m a pretty big guy so if your big, try it out. Just make sure your footing is right. You can use this at low speeds or up to break neck speeds.

Yes shift your weight to one side of the board, you can only turn slightly while doin a downhill tuck, it’s ideal to use going a straight road. Also don’t try to turn too much you will choke up and if you are going at high speeds you get really hurt.
Shift you weight from one leg to the other, just work on your balance and it will come naturally
While in your tuck you have to lean your weight over to the side of the board that you want to turn towards. At first you will feel like you might slip off the other end or that your board will slip out from under you but you have to trust your grip tape and wheels otherwise you’ll never get to turn much. At higher speeds it will be easier to if you go out of your tuck and get really low on your board and lean off it, this will reduce the risk of slipping off or slipping out.
You can try moving your front foot closer to the direction you want to turn.
By shifting your weight. It’ll be more like leaning than turning.
Slowly lean your body weight. You can turn you feet a little bit if you need to
Stay in your tuck, find your center and let it lower a bit, and then ease a lean in the direction you're turning, the more pressure you apply to your heel and toe on your lead foot. Remember though, speed wobbles can happen if you're not keeping the majority of your weight over the front truck, or just behind it. Keep your back foot in the tuck position and only use the movement in your ankle to aid in your turning. Good luck, and Shred on!
