You need the kick to get the board in the air to grab the trucks, no kick no trick

Yo always need the kick yo grape the trucks.

You don’t necessarily need a kick, you just have to apply leverage on your back truck and learn to control where it pops up at so you can grab it. Then you can learn the trick

Depends if it’s a pintail you can pop up the long section on the back. Other than that no you cant
