After I bring my lead foot around the second time I can never continue the steps. I always start over after the second step

Try to not put ur feet facing the nose but rather the side of the board and have it so ur legs and feet nearly touch by your ankles this should make it easyer or just practise were you can hole on to something to help find the right techniques for you

Try to ride your board switch for a long time. Just ride it switch and have fun. Then rest for awhile, it helps me. After that you should be more comfortable and have more balance on your back foot. You just have to build more balance on your back foot. :D

One thing that helped me with this trick is to try the motion stationary on grass for instance. I was always rushing things of. Relax and go with the flow. The wave beckons it.

Bring the foot that is doing the crossing as far back as you can, touch your shin to your calf

This heppens to you because you dont have as much balance on your "weak" leg as you have un your lead leg, the same happened to me at the begining. You have to train the balance on your weak leg. You can try by skating with your weak leg un the front, or by standing only on your weak leg and at the same time turn. But the only way to get it is by practicing over an over again. Good luck!

bend your knees try to use that movement as a force that presses down on the board & if you practice cross steppin back ALOT it'll make it easier, and also use your hips its a dance!!!;)

So why do you cannot continue? Do you fall or the deck seems to short?
Both reasons really
Try to stand straight and make the steps closer. Also it would be great if you train yourself to ride on the board on one foot.
It also happened to me , you have have to do short steps and try to put your lead foot next to the other one, and also in the beginning try to do it slowly then with practice you can do it faster
Try just lifting your foot up moree
Bend them knees!
Я плохо говорю по английски
try and take smaller steps
U nead better ballance
You have to keep your feet very close to each other, you can't walk all the board, you have to change the position of the foot being in the same place. Use your arms to help you!
