Tiger Claw 540 Body Varial
Intermediate
·
260 riders can do it
You spin the board to 540° in front of you, jump off the board, close the spin with a hand and jump back on the board.
How do it
The advanced version of a tiger claw, where instead of going for one spin, you shoot for one and a half.
1.
Back foot is on the tail, front foot is around the middle, at a slight angle.
2.
The beginning of the trick is exactly like the tigerclaw: snap the board, shift your weight onto your front foot, turn your body 180 degrees and catch the board when it reaches 180.
3.
For this trick, it's easiest the catch the deck on the nose, though some prefer catching it near the wheelbase, on the outer side. If you're more comfortable with catching it on the nose, don't go for the center, rather, catch it on the side further away from you — this will make it easier to rotate the board.
4.
Now it's time for the trick itself. We've already turned 180 with the snap, now all that's left is 270 degrees — so practically a full rotation, only instead of completing, you bring the board under your feet and land in switch (don't forget to time your jump, the jump is half the point).
5.
You can make the trick easier by speeding up before execution. More speed — more inertia — an easier rotation.
