You spin the board around rolling axis and perform a 90° turn from the stance where your rear feet is on the edge of the board and the front feet wraps the edge with its inner side.
How do it
An old skate trick that’s become quite popular in longboard freestyle.
1.
Legs are located between the middle of the board and the rear trucks. Your rear leg is on the edge of the board, the heel of your front leg is on the opposite side, toe hanging, with the sole tightly clutching the edge of the board.
2.
Squat down slightly and then jump up, either evenly distributing your weight between both legs, or shifting it more to your rear leg. I prefer the second option, as I find it helps with the board spin movement.
3.
Jump and turn your frame 90 degrees to land back in your stance. Your front foot also turns and spins the board with the toe, catching it from the underside. Your jump should be directed sideways, in the direction of the board spin.
