A smooth turn, which is used to change the direction.
How do it
The sliding transition is the first actual transition you will perform without putting your bum into the water. After some practise you’ll get better and won’t touch the water anymore.
1.
Ride at medium speed. Kite at 1/11 o'clock.
2.
Stop by using the edge of the board. Bend your knees. Turn board upwind across your riding direction.
3.
Slowly bring the kite up to 12 o'clock. Lay in the harness, move your body weight to your new back leg.
4.
Point the new nose of the board downwind and bring the kite down to start riding to the new direction.
