·
150 riders can do it
A 720° rotation backwards in high air.
How do it
Double rotation is not hard but you need more height. It’s very important to keep your kite at 12 during rotations.
1.
Get enough speed, kite at 11/1 o'clock.
2.
Aggressively steer the kite back.
3.
Make an impulse on the bar to return the kite to 12.
4.
Pop off the water and initiate the rotation on the take off by pointing board to the wind and looking over your front shoulder.
5.
Keep your body compact, after first rotation continue to keep your body compact and look over your front shoulder.
6.
When you finish second rotation, start to come down, straighten legs a bit to stop rotation, move kite forward.
7.
On the landing bend your knees to absorb the impact, point nose of the board downwind.
