5333 riders can do it
Jump straight up from Alleeoop and at the peak direct your bike down to landing.
How do it
A spine is a very versatile park element. It's very common and learning to ride it correctly is a very important skill. The spine has a number of difficult aspects that you must prepare yourself for. Do not fear it, but don't rush into it either. If you're not certain you can jump it — roll into it at a slower speed and put your leg out on the coping to get over the spine. You can transition to a full transfer as soon as you feel comfortable with the move.
1.
Go in slightly allee oop and jump while pulling your handlebars in.
2.
Go up, not forward! Also, adjust your direction from your alley oop, this will allow you to better control your upwards movement.
3.
At the peak of your jump direct your bike down, keeping your weight over your back wheel — this will let you hit the coping without much consequence.
4.
To make your landing smoother, make sure your front wheel is the first to touch the ground.
