A stand on one pedal on the edge of the quarter.
How do it
The pedal stall opens the door to a bunch of park tricks and makes you a more competent rider. Say goodbye to your pedal spikes!
1.
Ride up in a straight line. Not too fast though!
2.
Before your front wheel reaches the coping, begin to lean forward and turn your bike. This movement is performed with your shoulders. Don't hesitate to put your leg out the first couple of times you're just figuring out your speed and movement pattern.
3.
Try not to jump onto the pedal, but just sort of climb onto it. Bring your bike out towards the table. The softer the impact, the easier it'll be to keep your balance.
4.
If you're still having trouble keeping your leg on the pedal, try this little hack: place your toe on the pedal and use your heel to lean on the table.
5.
Now let's try to exit. Do a simple sideways hop. You can give yourself a push with your leg and pull the bike up towards you.
