A regular spin with a switch Tailwhip or a switch spin with a regular Tailwhip.
How do it
A downside tailwhip is a tailwhip with an opposite rotation. Basically, it means you'll be spinning towards the tailwhip. Let's try it out in the quarter.
1.
The first thing you need to learn is how to turn to opposite in the quarter. Work on your turns and airs in opposite every day. This skill will greatly improve your bike control and speed up your progress in general.
2.
You don't need too much speed on your first ds whip attempts. Ride in a wide arc. Push off hard from the quarter and spin a regular tailwhip a couple of times, to get used to the movement.
3.
You'll soon start to figure out the trick. When pushing off, you need to shift hard towards the bike, so that you're jumping to it. And the most important part is hanging over your bike. You should be turning the bike while it's right under you, not anywhere to the side. Just be very careful the first couple of times you attempt this.
4.
Once you learn to hold the bike underneath you, you can work on increasing your speed and thus your time in the air.
