A 180° turn performed from Bunny Hop with a Barspin while in the air.
How do it
180 barspin is a bunny hop 180 and a barspin in the air (i.e. turning the handlebars 360 degrees). Can be performed both on a flat and sloping surface. Combining the 180 and barspin is rather difficult at first, so expect a learning curve and lots of leg slips, so wear protection! Once you master the aerial section of the trick, you'll still need to work on landing and riding fakie, but a little more speed and consentration should clear that right up.
1.
Ride at a slow speed (for now), do a regular bunny hop 180 and push the handlebars forward, while clutching the saddle with your legs (like when doing a bunny hop to barspin).
2.
Jump. Make sure to keep your eyes on the handlebars and not on the rear wheel!
3.
90 degrees is the ideal moment to execute a barspin, doing it earlier or later is not recommended.
4.
Spin the handlebars, catch them just as you would doing a regular barspin, and land at 180 degrees. Ride fakie and exit.
