Leaning into the ledge with your front wheel perpendicular to the obstacle.
How do it
A nosepress ia front wheel stand with support. To learn this trick, find a flat-ish quarter with a table wide enough for your front wheel.
1.
Ride up in a straight line and practice the nosepress to fakie. What you need to work in is the position of your body — it needs to allow you to lean into the wall and receive enough inertia for your exit. Gently place your front wheel into a nosepress, shift your weight onto it and dig into the bars with your hands.
2.
Now ride up as you did before, but this time, at the last moment, turn your shoulder and slightly move the bike rear in the direction of rotation. Make sure you don't loose your front wheel support. If something goes wrong, don't be afraid to just put your front foot down on the table.
3.
Exiting a nosepress is fairly simple. Push in hard and direct the inertia back towards the quarter. To do this, turn your shoulders and take your front wheel off the table and into the quarter. All that's left is to turn the bike around and ride off.
