A stand on the front wheel on the quarter table with no breaks. You balance only with your weight.
How do it
The nosepick is an interesting and good looking park riding element, a stand on the front wheel on the quarter table, no breaks, no legs (that would be a footjam). You balance only with your weight.
1.
Find a suitable quarter, preferably a lower one to begin with. A table with a slope towards the quarter would be ideal.
2.
The nosepick isn't the easiest trick around, so before tackling it, work on some less challenging elements, the footjam for example.
3.
Ride up to the quarter at slow to medium speed. As soon as your front wheel starts going onto the table, begin shifting your weight forward and in the direction of rotation. Direct the handlebars downwards and thus push down onto the front wheel, bend your knees and lift up the bike rear. Try to keep your body and bike inclined towards the quarter — otherwise you won't be able to exit.
4.
Now you need to catch your balance and use your arms and frame to jump back into the quarter. It might take some time for you to find the ideal balance for this trick, but it's more than worth it.
