An advanced Footjam variation performed with your leg brough over the bike frame.
How do it
The can-can footjam is, as you'd imagine, a footjam performed while in can-can, i.e. with your leg brough over the bike frame. An advanced footjam variation.
1.
As with the footjam, the can‑can footjam is best first attempted on a pyramid or the ground. You need to get a feel for bringing your leg over the frame. The footjam stand itself is virtually indistinguishable from a regular footjam.
2.
Now let's ride into the quarter and really try it out. Try just jumping onto the table, making sure to move a little further away from the edge. Get used to the entry.
3.
Begin to edge closer to the coping and going onto your front wheel more and more.
4.
It's much easier to exit this trick if you turn your shoulders towards the quarter. If you're in a smaller quarter, you can exit right into a can‑can landing until you're ready for the real thing.
