A stall where you balance on the front peg only in Nose Manual position.
How do it
A toothpick stall is a stand executed on the front peg. Before attempting the toothpick stall in the quarter, make sure to become familiar with the basic stands (double peg and feeble), and try catching your balance in a toothpick on a low, safe ledge.
1.
Ride up in a straight line, the straighter the better.
2.
Push off from somewhere in the middle of the quarter (almost as if performing a bunny hop), turn the handlebars 70‑90 degrees and lean up against the front peg while keeping your body in the quarter.
3.
Getting drawn onto the table is the first sign of a bad entry. A toothpick entry is very similar to a footjam to fakie — you need to push off just as early and not topple.
4.
As soon as you begin to push off earlier, you’ll be drawn into the quarter. At first you'll be exiting into a disaster — ignore it, just keep your weight over the radius and exit to the side.
