A grind performed on the front peg only, in nose manual position.
How do it
A very difficult and dangerous grind. It's performed solely on the front peg (in nose manual position). Before doing the grind itself, put your peg and rear wheel on the ledge, then lift the rear end and try to balance. The grind will be extremely short, at least at first. A longer grind is a sign of true mastery. Don't forget to wax the ledge!
1.
To start with, it's best to find a short railing and execute at moderate speed. Ride parallel to the railing and do a regular bunny hop. While you're in the air, shift your front wheel towards the railing, so that you'll land on the front peg. Your rear wheel should be located higher up and away from the rail. Shift your body weight forward and keep your arms tense, like when doing a nose manual.
2.
Crouch down slightly (for better control) and grind. Again, this is a particularly dangerous grind, so make sure to wax the railing thoroughly.
3.
In order to exit, use your arms to shift the front of the bike away from the railing. Slide the front wheel off the railing and land on both wheels.
