How do it
The downside smith is very versatile. You can snap the peg in a quarter or just on any ledge corner out in the street. To do this one you need to know how to perform a smith, how to do an opposite in the quarter — oh, and how to do a bunny hop of course!
1.
Ride in an arc into the quarter, bringing your front wheel as close as you can to the coping. Ride up confidently, slightly leaning into your bike and preparing to push the wheel onto the table, so that the peg hits the corner or coping. And since you've leaned into your bike, you can now push off and bring the bike back into the quarter.
2.
The entire movement should be gentle, but collected. Ride up, tense up for the peg hit, pull the wheel back.
3.
The moment the peg hits the quarter, lean back slightly in order to perform a bunny hop back into the quarter and get your wheel off the table.
