How do it
A basic two-peg grind executed on one side of a rail or ledge. What you'll need for this one is pegs =) and a confident bunny hop. We also recommend using hub guards (side protection for the hubs). By mastering this trick you'll be able to grind high rails and ledges up and down, and do a bunch of great trick combos.
1.
Find a railing or ledge a little higher than your pegs. Try putting your bike onto it and note the approximate height of the bunny hop you'll need to do.
2.
Now get on your pedals and get a feel for what it's like to be standing on pegs =) Bend your arms and legs and try holding your balance.
3.
Now onto the trick itself. Ride slowly along the rail/ledge you've chosen for practice.
4.
Do a side hop (sideways bunny hop) onto a rail/ledge. You need to land right on the pegs and slightly tilt the bike towards the railing, to prevent the pegs from sliding off.
5.
As soon as the pegs touch the rail/ledge, cushion the landing by bending your arms and legs.
6.
Now you're doing the grind. When you feel like you're slowing down, do a simple side hop to drop from the rail. If you've tilted in the opposite direction, simply jump in that direction.
