Crankarm Grind

1250 riders can do it
A grind on the pedal with the rail between the wheels and your bike turned to about 45° to the rail.
How do it
The crankarm grind is one of the hardest grinds out there. Performed on a rail, you need to grind on the pedal with the bike turned to approximately 45 degrees.
1.
Ride straight along the rail, starting off as slow as you can. Perform a bunny hop, turning your bike and body about 45 degrees towards the rail. Don't try to jump sideways onto the rail, only your front pedal should land on it! Try standing on it with your foot and holding your balance. Your arms and legs are bent and your leaning entirely on your front leg. The front pedal has to be higher than the rear pedal!
2.
Once you learn how to jump onto the rail with your pedal and hold your balance at least for a bit, try increasing your speed and executing the same movement — only this time you should begin to grind. Always try to land on the pedal, not on the crank. This will make your training all the more effective!
